TERMS OF SALE
Ale Cellar will at all times adhere to any legal restrictions imposed on us in connection with the sale, and the offering for sale, of alcohol.
We reserve the right not to accept your order, in which case we will have no further obligation to you.
We will notify you by email when your order is submitted to us. We will debit your account with the appropriate amount in full on accepting your order. We will be deemed not to have accepted your order until we have debited your account. Even if we accept your order, there will not be any agreement between us if you are under the age of 18 years at the time you submit your order. The sale of the products will occur at the place and the time that particular products are allocated to your order.
Our obligation is to deliver the products at the delivery address you have specified in your order to a person who appears to be over the age of 18 and who appears to be authorised to take delivery. We will not despatch the products until we have received cleared funds. Delivery is not available on public holidays or weekends. Standard delivery days are Wednesdays and Fridays. We may deliver the products at any time during the day.

Please note we currently do not deliver to the USA.
All goods MUST be signed for upon delivery, provided they are in acceptable condition.
If any goods are noticed to be damaged upon delivery, Ale Cellar requires that the shipment be refused and that you the customer contact Ale Cellar immediately on 01325 252022. Once goods have been accepted for delivery they are deemed to be "in acceptable condition" and Ale Cellar is no longer liable.
We may use an independent carrier. If there is no one to accept the delivery of your order a card will be left by the carrier so you can arrange a re-delivery time, directly with the carrier. Ultimately, if the carrier is unable to deliver your order it will be held at the depot for 3 days for collection before being returned to us. If all reasonable attempts have been made to deliver your order and no attempt has been made for collection, then return, and re-delivery (if required) will be at your expense. There will also be a £10 + VAT administrative charge for any subsequent refund. This charge also applies to any succesfully processed orders which are subsequently cancelled by the customer.
PRICE GUARANTEE
Cheapest price promise is on overall cost of a mixed 12 or 24 bottle case not necessarily individual bottles.
Refunds will only be made if a cheaper online UK based vendor is discovered within 3 days of purchase on the same case selection.
Refunds will only be made in the form of credit on the value of a subsequent order. Cash/cheque refunds are not available.
Our promise excludes temporary promotional offers made by alternate online vendors.
THE FOLLOWING TERMS LIMIT, AND IN SOME CASES EXCLUDE ALTOGETHER, OUR LIABILITY TO YOU.
We will not have any responsibility or liability for the non-delivery of any products unless either a) all of the products charged for are not delivered, or b) you give us full details of the shortages within 3 working days of the part delivery.
Ale Cellar reserves the right to substitute a product of equal or higher value in the event of supply difficulties.
We will not have any responsibility or liability in connection with any defects in the quality of the products unless you give us full details of the defects within 3 days of when the defect ought to have been apparent to you.
Ale Cellar accepts no liability arising from errors (including typographical errors) contained in, or any omissions from, this website. November 2007.
